Joanne Cortes is a passionate leader and visionary who believes that every individual possesses a unique gift the world desperately needs. She dedicates her life to helping people uncover their God-given potential, inspiring them to believe boldly, love compassionately, and embrace their humanity, all while trusting God on life’s journey. As an ordained pastor with the Potomac Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Joanne has been at the forefront of ministry and community impact. She planted BeLove Church in Washington, D.C., and is currently leading the establishment of BeLove NoVA in Virginia, creating spaces for connection, healing, and growth. Joanne is married to José Cortes Jr., Associate Ministerial Director at the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Together, they find joy and purpose in raising their two sons, José III and Joel.
